Merci Finest selection

 

 

The four varieties of dark chocolate specialties: the Merci Dark contained coffee and cream, cream truffle, dark cream and marcipan. I was in love with the first three flavors but the marcipan was definitely not my cup of tea.   

The dark mousse was perfect. It was rich and not too sweet. The coffee and cream had a very mild coffee taste that worked so well with the chocolate. The cream truffle was rich, smooth and sweet. To best enjoy this specialty, you need a cup of coffee. 

I dislike the marcipan because it contained a weird taste. I couldn't describe the taste but I passed it to my hubby right after my first bite of it.  

This Merci Finest selection was made in Germany. We bought it from the Giant supermarket with a promotion. It suited both my palate and my pocket. I couldn't hold my desire to stop eating it. And I had finished the whole box of chocolate bars in quite a short period. My hubby was astonished. He said, "You shared the chocolates with me only once or twice!"
